Her Royal Highness Princess Azola Mabinza is a visionary leader, humanitarian, tech trailblazer, and Executive Chairperson of the African Monarch Group, representing the Xhosa Kingdom in the Eastern Cape. She also partners with AI in Africa, an AI-powered education platform reaching South African learners.

As an entrepreneur, she co-founded Khula Lula with her sister Milisa — South Africa’s first female-owned private equity firm. Khula Lula addressed the capital disparities for women-led tech startups and was listed by Bloomberg within four months of launching.

Previously, she served as the sole female systems engineer at Broll | Cushman & Wakefield, developing and managing proptech systems for R300 billion in corporate real estate assets across Africa and Indian Ocean Islands.

In convening and diplomacy, Princess Azola launched the Improx Executive Circle at the 2026 Nedbank International Polo, creating a private space for Sandton executives to build relationships rooted in integrity, no agendas attached. She also organized and hosted Africa Day Celebration 2026 in partnership with the African Union Sixth Region Global and Melrose Gallery, the world’s first Pan-African Art Gallery, bringing together art investors, diplomats, royalty, executives, and artists to celebrate heritage and drive economic collaboration.

She holds directorships at Thandazwe Heritage and Asher Africa. At Thandazwe Heritage, she preserves indigenous knowledge through book sales, theatre productions, annual lectures, restoration projects, documentaries, cultural tours, and the amaXhosa Kingdom’s first indigenous museum and guest house. She drives arts education and community upliftment using indigenous art and storytelling for healing and cultural pride. Thandazwe Heritage partners, to amplify African stories and indigenous knowledge for global audiences. At Asher Africa, a waste-to-energy company, she advances sustainable environmental solutions at grassroots level.

As Youth President at AIDO International Network, she leads a global network for royal families and indigenous leadership, promoting Ubuntu, cultural exchange, and social change through diplomacy and youth mentorship.

In sport and inclusion, she partners with Special Olympics South Africa, SAFA Eastern Cape, Ditlake FC — a club of former Bafana Bafana players — and Nike’s Sports for Social Change Network to drive social change and inclusion through sport. As an Analyst Research Consultant at FIFA’s FARE Network, she works to promote safegaurding and promote fair play in football.

As Project Coordinator at the Menzi Mthethwa Foundation, she preserves the R21 million portfolio and legacy of iconic artist Gogo Esther Mnguni while creating opportunities for emerging creatives.

Globally, she co-organized, co-hosted, and co-presented at the G20 CivilSociety20 Conclave, G20 Power of Women Digital Conference and Neuroscience20 Summit in 2025. At the “Africa We Want” Summit organized by Embassy of Qatar and Phumzile Mlambo Ngcuka Foundation, she represented the Eastern Cape on agriculture and food security, advocating agri-processing and indigenous knowledge. Through presentations at the UN IOM, and 2026 UN CSW70 Sessions, she advanced community development, GBV advocacy, youth mentorship, social cohesion and cultural heritage preservation.

Every public holiday, Princess Azola leads humanitarian outreach including book drives, blanket drives, wool drives, food drives, clothing drives, youth mentorship, sports development workshops and arm-knitting sessions for deserving communities. In partnership with Blankets for Baby and 67 Blankets for Mandela Day, she provides knitted blankets to previously disadvantaged communities while also supporting conservation efforts to protect endangered baby elephants and rhinos. Through her partnership with Leading Like Mandela Institute and the Department of Fisheries, Forestries and Environment on the 5 Billion Tree Planting initiative she is a listed nature conservationist, a climate change agent and custodian of indigenous heritage.
